About TesBots
TesBots packages common Tesla-owner questions into Grok Bots anyone can add — but only when a bot does something the car's built-in Grok can't.
How the bots work
Only what your car's Grok can't do. A bot ships only if it adds real value over the Grok built into the car: memory of your exact car, scheduled checks, and proactive alerts.
Your car stays yours. Bots can't read your car's data or log in to your Tesla account. They know what you tell them, plus public sources.
Quiet by default. Scheduled checks are on so the bot can do its job, but they only message you when something applies. Say "pause" plus the routine name to stop one.
Sources first. Official Tesla release notes and support pages beat news, and news beats posts. Owner reports from X are labeled "owners are reporting."
No made-up numbers. If a bot can't confirm a version, price, or date, it says so.
Dated answers. Bots tell you when they checked.
Voice-safe. Short spoken answers, nothing to read while driving, and menu steps only for when you're parked.
No surprise actions. The bots never buy, post, message, or change anything without your yes.
Money, honestly
TesBots is free. The site may earn from affiliate links on accessories, a Tesla referral link, and clearly labeled sponsors. A link never decides a recommendation.
Not Tesla
TesBots is independent and is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. We don't use Tesla logos or fonts.
FAQ
Can I suggest a bot?
- Yes, reach out on X (@TimDOES).
Does TesBots see my data?
- No. Bots you add run on your own Grok Bot account; TesBots doesn't receive your chats.
Where did the old bots go?
- In October 2026 we replaced the original five bots with four that do things your car's Grok can't. See the homepage for the current lineup.
Can I call a bot from my car?
- Yes, by name ("Hey Grok, ask Rollout Watch..."). That needs a Tesla with an AMD processor on software 2026.26 or later, signed in to a Grok account with SuperGrok and Grok Bot linked.
