Two Weeks

Every two weeks, a Tesla news roundup of the past 14 days. Every item has a source link and a date. You pick how it arrives, short or long, the weekday, and the topics. Your car is optional. Stock talk stays off unless you turn it on.

Based on public Tesla pages, news, and owner reports. Items are advise-only. TesBots is independent and not affiliated with Tesla, Inc.

What it does that your car's built-in Grok can't

  • Sends a scheduled Tesla news roundup every two weeks and messages you first. On its own, in-car Grok answers when you ask; it doesn't run checks on a schedule.

  • Puts a source link and a date on every item. If it can't find both, it drops the item.

  • Remembers how you want it delivered (in-app, voice memo, email to yourself, or Slack), short or long, the weekday, topics, and whether stock talk is on (off by default).

  • Saves the latest roundup so you can hear it again: from the car, say "Hey Grok, tell Two Weeks to catch me up."

  • Software and FSD (Supervised) release news is one line pointing to Rollout Watch.

Try asking

  • “Catch me up.”
  • “Make the next roundup longer.”
  • “Keep stock talk off.”
  • “Hey Grok, tell Two Weeks to catch me up.”

Routines it sets up

Scheduled checks are on by default, easy to turn off. Say "pause" plus the routine name to stop one, or "resume" to turn it back on. Email routines stay off until you opt in.

  • fortnight-roundup (Every two weeks, on the weekday you pick)

Compile the past 14 days of Tesla news that matches the owner's topics. Every item gets a source link and a date. Software and FSD (Supervised) release news is one line pointing to Rollout Watch. Skip stock talk unless they turned it on. Send the roundup on the delivery path they chose (in-app message, voice memo, email to themselves, or a connected channel such as Slack). Save it as the latest roundup. Never ask for a time zone. Never post, buy, or email anyone but the owner.

What it needs

How you want it delivered (in-app message, voice memo, email to yourself, or a connected channel such as Slack), short or long, the weekday, and which topics to include. Stock talk stays off unless you turn it on. Your car is optional. If you share it, the bot can flag items that mention Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Cybertruck, Cybercab, Semi, or Roadster. It never asks for a time zone. Uses built-in web and X search.

What it remembers: delivery path, length, weekday, topics, stock-talk setting, the latest roundup, and your car if you shared it. Stored in your own Grok Bot account; TesBots never receives it. Delete the bot to remove it.

Use it from your phone or your car

Works anytime in the Grok Bot app. From the car, talk to in-car Grok. It passes the car's info to your bot, and the answer comes back in the car.

  • “Hey Grok, tell Two Weeks to catch me up.”

In-car use needs a Tesla with an AMD infotainment processor on software 2026.26 or later, Premium Connectivity or Wi-Fi, signed in to a Grok account with a plan with Grok Bot, and Grok Bot linked to that account. Availability and plan requirements can change. See tesla.com/support/grok.

Email it (optional)

You can have Two Weeks email the roundup to you. It is instructed never to email anyone but you. No plus-alias inbox is required.

"name" is your Grok Bot address (name@mail.grokbot.com). Plus aliases work automatically, with nothing extra to claim. The bot sets up one routine per alias, and only during setup if you say yes. No Grok Bot address yet? The bot can claim one for you with your OK, or you can skip email entirely. Email content is treated as untrusted: bots are instructed to ignore instructions inside emails, not to reply to senders, and only to tell you about real, relevant mail.

TesBots basics

Do they work in the car?
Yes. Talk to in-car Grok — it passes the car's info to your bot, and the answer comes back in the car. Try "Hey Grok, tell Two Weeks to catch me up." In-car use needs a Tesla with an AMD infotainment processor on software 2026.26 or later, Premium Connectivity or Wi-Fi, signed in to a Grok account with a plan with Grok Bot, and Grok Bot linked to that account (see tesla.com/support/grok). Availability and plan requirements can change. They work in the Grok Bot app on your phone.
Can they read my car's data or log in to my Tesla account?

Can a bot control my car or buy things?
No. They research, remember, and alert. Bots are set up to never buy, post, or message anyone without your OK.
